Help!
Im currently working my way through the mages guild quests and have reached the point where im supposed to retrieve a Dwemer Tube from the ruins west of Ald Velothi. Ive ransacked said ruins and cannot find the tube anywhere, Ive also worked my way through about 5 more dewmer sites and cannot find any there either. The only one ive come across was in Hla Oad and ive given that over to complete a thieves guild quest.
Can some kind soul please either tell me the location of one that isnt central to any other quests or alternatively tell me the editor command to "drop" one into my inventory.
(The editor Ive got is goosed so i cannot look for myself.)

Seem to remember possibly seeing one or more in arkgnthand (the one just over the bridge next to Fort moonmoth, balmora)

You can wait and finish the quest later. I know for a fact that there are tubes in many of the Shrines and ruins. The other possibility is to steal the tube back from the person you gave it to in the Thieves guild. It should be in her inventory menu on her person. Just don't get caught.

I started a new charachter today .. kept an eye out for you ;) Found 3 tubes but one was in a chest(chests seem to have random contents) the following two were both found lying on objects in the world and so presumably were put there by the world designers to ensure there were enough for quests etc
[Spoiler] Arkgthand : this is over the dwemer bridge which is just to the left of moonmoth legion fort, near Balmora (you need to use the dwemer crank nearby to get the doors open) Once in, follow the ramp downabout two thirds of the way to the bottom of the initial large room, but go through the hole in the wall on the right of the winding ramp instead into dark dwemer corridors, follow these down till you get to a door that leads to the cells of the hollow hand, Inside there is a "strange dwemer machine" (or similar) on the little shelve type ledges built into the sides of the machine rests a Dwemer tube [/Spoiler]
