Dwemer Scarab Schematics...

is just that, a piece of paper I picked up I know not where & which I am unable to drop onto my paperdoll character icon & read like a book or a scroll. Anyone yet found a use for or need of this doc? Hints are invited & welcomed. TIA.

I have the scarab schematics as well (I found them in the dwemer tower near dagon fel) i think you *may* need them for some mage guild / telvanni quests but I'm not completely sure.

Keep them safe and don't forget where you put them is my advice.

It's a quest item, and all you're supposed to do is give it to the person who asks for it; I wish you could read it too, though.

I have those I also picked up my copy in the ruins by Dragon Fel. I also found a book that is priced at 1000 dollars. Any ideas what they are for?

Just went poking around and found that there are both "Dwemer Scarab Plans" and "Dwemer Scarab Schematics"... The Mage Guild will want a copy of the plans, and a Telvanni quests wants a copy of the schematics.

How about the book? I'm afraid wife is watching television so my X-Box game wont be loaded for a while so I can't get the name.

[SPOILER] The book contains from what I've concluded about the story line The tools and the egg and a man. It's only a couple pages it's just worth a 1000 so I figured it was for a quest so stored it in my house. [/SPOILER]

Ahhh... does the title "Egg of Time" ring a bell? It's part of the quest you get from Archmage Trebonius (Vivec Mage Guild)

I have had both those books, and someone told me if I took them to someone who knew what they were, they could do something with them.I was going to go visit the dwarf at Tel Freyr,but didnt want to waste the time on a possible fruitless quest!
would I just be chaseing ancestrial ghosts here?
