Hi I havent been playing long but How do you get people to give you things when they say they don't know anything about it? As I talk to the kajiit For the Dwemer artifacts quest it says " what Dwemer artifacts?" how do I get them if everyone in town says either they don't trust me enough or say they don't know anything about it??

Any time people say that they dont trust you enough to tell you its because of their disposition towards you (that little blue bar on the top right when you are talking to them) You can raise their disposition by admireing them (works more better for ppl of oppisite sex or if your pers. is high), intimidating them (works better if you have a price on your head and maybe if you have reputation points <- Not sure about that last one)or by bribing them. Also ppls disposition is usually = to your personality, while somewhat lower to guards (cause you are an outlander) and somewhat higher to your race (I am a Khajiit and Khajiits like me 65 -my personality- and +5 disposition totaling 70) And I think after the main quest everyone just likes you more, i thinkso at least cause most ppl got 81 or 100 dis for me now. :sly:
The easiest for you would probably be to try the bribe 10 gold option untill they "trust" you enough to tell you.

He won't tell you where they are!
Pick the lock of the lower level treasure chest in the room the khajiit is in and you'll find the artifacts you need.
