I started doing Morag Tong quests and I've offed a few people... when I did the first writ the guard took it when he stopped me after "my crime was reported"... since then I've not needed to turn them in.
Question is, what should I do with the writs that are finished... I thought they'd take them back when I collected for the writ, but they're still in my inventory. Is it safe to sell/drop them?

As long as your crime wasn't reported and you sucessfully assassinated your target, it should be safe to do what you want with them. I keep mine in my library.

yeah i usually drop them but be caerfulll you dont drop your current one, the repricusions usualy end you up getting killed, and on my file its an easy mistake to make as they seem to swap places every time i look at them.

I noticed the place-switching myself... I'd wait till I was done and back before dropping them on one of the beds in the home in Vivic.
I only got the "a crime has been reported" thing twice (and the 1st one being the 1st writ).... usually there is a note in my journal something like "noone dared report me to the authorities" or something like that.
