Hi all,
I've been messing around with scripts lately but I'm stuck on a very simple point. I did a quick search and didn't find anything. How do I use my changed trigger scripts in the game? Do I need to copy the trigger scripts directory to my game directory (from my editor directory)? If that's the case then where are the script originally read from by the game if not the gamesys?
I originally thought the scripts were saved in the gamesys files, but when I changed one of the torchguard scripts, then copied the changed gamesys files to the game directory it didn't work.

The scripts are compiled into the ibt files for each map, so if you're trying to get new scripts to work in the OMs, you'd need to recompile those maps in your editor folder then copy the files over to your game install. Or you could play the game in the editor folder, where you wouldn't need to recompile the maps, which would be easier.

And we're back to the problem of having to redistribute the entire ibt for each level with Assassins. Maybe Shadowspawn's ibt stripper will finally make that feasible! :D
