B unny on june, friday the thirteenth, (shouldn't have come on such an unlucky day) and they told me it was going to get released in october.

Houston, we have confirmation, cuz I was in our local EB store here in Bellona this past Saturday, 21 June 2003, & so thought to ask if DX2 had been released yet. The store guy looked on some info form & replied, "It's coming out October 15th."

I strongly doubt that EB knows anything we don't know. Retailers (and online stores) have been putting dates on the game's release for some time now, simply because a date sells preorders better than "To Be Announced".
At least now they seem to be following Spector's promise of October or before.
