It's not entirely to my tastes; I think it might be missing the illusion of rotation, or at least I get the feeling that it could easily rotate -- with a fluctuating, almost alive symmetry -- but, as it is, the still near-symmetry makes it a little boring to me. I kind of imagine someone -- who always wanted to get into art, but had neither the time nor the right inclination -- buying it as a first piece, showing it off to all his/her friends, who also always wanted to get into art, but had neither the time nor the right inclination, and who would all gather around it in a semicircle without knowing what to possibly say, but they would all be jealous of their friend for taking the first step. It is kind of soothing, though.

Welcome back to the real
Now this piece is more to my tastes; it has a certain dynamism to it, a sense of speed and direction, almost as if it could explode any minute now or already is, but in a most invigorating way and not in the least harmful (I think because of the two colours added). The glitchy grey makes it even better. I also get the feeling it could fit very well in a game of sorts -- and I would probably play the hell out of it.
Before knowing the title I got a strong sense of something being alive here, like an alien creature, or monster if you will, with a strange mouth (like the unexpectedly dentated underside of a snail?), and despite its teeth being the teeth of a herbivore, I felt like it would eat, or, rather, devour, anyone who got close enough. If it were animated, I imagine it would pulsate like something out of a naked lunch -- or, no, to be honest I at first thought it was just a mess of colours, like someone who was very ill, let's say Paul McCarthy, had vomited on it, or, no, that wasn't my first thought either, my first actual thought was just nothing, but then I started really looking at it (and I guess it made my glandula infrunita totally water :p ). Then I checked the title.

I like a lot of your work in these links and posted. Some I would hang on my wall. Best of luck with this.

Thanks. The biggest obstacle I face is that the difference in style/method used to make these produces quite a different aesthetic than most new media art, so finding somewhere where it will fit is a challenge (as with any forward-thinking/revolutionary art). /snoot
qolelis: Thanks for the feedback. Feedback-feedback coming when I can manage it.

There are plenty of modern style places in California that these would go well with. Consider showing these in galleries in Santa Monica, San Diego, San Francisco, and of course our little play ground, Las Vegas (technically Nevada).

Will do! California isn't really my thing, but I love Vegas. How about the Pacific NW, Seattle or Portland? Know anything about the art scenes there?

I am 100% certain bjack doesn't know anything about any art scenes

Seattle is smoking hot, literally. Vape would probably sell well there. Do you do any Tiki? It's a fringe thing in Orange County, CA. Portland is hipster central, but has been over saturated for over a decade. Vivian, stick with London and your fog... ;) You don't know anything about me and to make up assumption based upon my posts here is pretty childish and frankly, unbecoming of someone from England, unless you are a gutter snipe, then by all means shit away. Again... ;) My father is an artist, his father was an artist, I have many friends that are artists, my wife started out as an art major. So you would be a bit wrong. Would not be the first time, but that is OK. Love and kisses... bjack
