In case you didn't guess, I'm drunk, and stoned. Not so drunk that I can't type though, so I would gauge my drunkeness as semi-inebriated. I'm also mildly stoned, but my perception is only half-altered. (or half-assed - you decide)
Normally I don't post much at all. Only when I'm wasted, and then only shite. This time it's still shite, but reasonably coherent shite.
I find posting quite cathartic (just looked that up on dictionary.com and fuck me bit I spelled it rite.)
Recently I've been thinking about the idiocy of current drug laws. Not to say that this whole post is about drugs, so bear with me. I've been puzzled by the fact that crack cocaine, mary jane, heroin, all these interesting drugs are illegal, but I can grow belladonna in my garden, or cultivate death caps for my own perverse devices. I can't grow pscilocybes for my own personal amusement, but I can grow mushrooms that will kill with micrograms of their mycotoxins. What the fuck? Wouldn't it make sense to have that the other way round? The law is an ass, but I'm sure most of you would agree with that.
Piracy, that's another thing that's been bugging me. I pirate shit. Well, apart from a couple of christians, who doesn't, on occasion? (can you say couple and christian at the same time?)
Thing is, if I like something that I've pirated, I'll buy it. It's nice to try something before you buy, and it helps you make an informed decision.

What is the crack with FEAR?
The engine is sadly lacking. As far as I know, and I'm sure I'll be contradicted, it's the lithtech engine, but enhanced. I fucking hated that engine from the day it was born. AvP was a great game, but fuck me the engine ate ass. I hear comparisons to the Quake 4 engine, but come on. Quake 4 looks great, and is smooth and sweet and doesn't use that microshaft direct3d shite. OpenGL all the way.

Curiosity - What's the longest anyone here has stayed awake for? I've managed 62 hours when I was younger, but as I get older I seem to need more and more and more sleep. After 62 hours I was fucked up, hallucinations, the works.

BTW, that has a fuckton of meanings, but I'd say it's most commonly used as "this/he can't be helped" in a quite negative manner.
