This is an absurd problem to have, and its probably not even a problem. I find that I don't have enough random shit to read on the internet in my spare time (see: the time between doing something else, something about me doesn't like spending too much time working on something and need to take a break and check something every 20 minutes or so).
I know the internet is chocked full of stuff (most of it being shit), and I realize I'm way too fucking lazy at this point to actually find anything new and will just keep checking the same forums and other pages over and over.
Any suggestions? TTLG isn't always enough, so anywhere else interesting besides my google homepage that I could use to waste my time? Humorous blogs are acceptable.

I spend a fair bit of time at something awful. There is an insane amount of stuff there, although the images on many of the great old pages are slowly dying. Nonetheless many hilarious hours can be found there...

Ah, Stumbleupon, if only you supported Opera in any meaningful way...
Here are some RSS feeds I read:
(
http://www.bloglines.com/public/doctorfrog)
I've been getting bored with these lately, and could use a few new suggestions myself.

Well if you're interested in reading articles about all sorts of stuff you could check out (
www.damninteresting.com)
Not really just for a 3 minute laugh since it takes a bit to read through most of the articles and even some of the comments, but it's well worth the reading. :)
EDIT: Ok, so another site would be (
www.warphead.com)
It's mostly urban legends and stuff like that, but entertaining.
EDIT 2: Right, so there's also (
www.i-am-bored.com)
It just gathers up most of the stuff on the internet so expect crap that you've seen in other places to be here too.

okay, if I was to give more specific recommendations (though I really think SU is exactly what you're looking for), I'd second Damn Interesting, and here's two interesting blogs I've found recently:
(
http://gropingtheelephant.wordpress.com/) Groping the Elephant - in-depth thoughts on gaming (I think if I were to start a blog it'd be very much like this one)
(
http://blog.robbiecooper.org/) Immersion Blog - an interesting general blog with a gentle psychology/neuroscience slant. Incidentally I found it through StumbleUpon.
There's also (
http://www.mcsweeneys.net) McSweeneys, which I'm a long-time fan of.
In fact maybe I can take this opportunity to ask: what is the best method of following RSS feeds? I'm new to the RSS world, and just want an easy, unobtrusive method of knowing when my favourite sites have new articles. At the moment I use a cumbersome default menu structure in Firefox which is less than ideal.
edit: just tried setting up an account on the site doctorfrog linked to; seems to be a pretty clean way of doing it.

Thanks to NV for hooking me up on this one.
By posting the link before I get a chance to!
But seriously, TVTropes is great if you have a few hours that you don't need. It's just hard to
stop reading.

The names of the tropes and the story behind them is half the fun a lot of the time.
The Wesley; Draco in Leather pants; Idiot Ball ; Chaotic Stupid ; Hannibal Lecture; Ikea sex scene ; Out of Clothes Experience ; Ho Yay ; 'Shipping
Then there's the endless evolution and refinement. Take the grandmama; (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mary_sue) Mary Sue (best explanation at 'the other wiki'). It gets spun off into God Mode Sue, Marty Stu, Canon Sue, Black Hole Sue et al.
I love it. Eye opening just how much lore there is surrounding fan fic of all kinds, anime fan fic too.
