I've been wanting to try out dromed for a while, but it doesn't seem to want to run on vista. Something about a font not found, I'll have to repost more specifics, I only have internet access at the library. I was hoping someone might know a fix for vista in general. I'll try to post with more specifics monday when I don't work, it's too damn cold to keep walking back and forth today.

Actually, that sounds like the classic problem.
You've copied all the files off the disk for DromEd straight into the Thief folder, not a sub-folder, and let the installer overwrite all?
That usually fixes it.
If that's not the problem then maybe there's a font name discrepancy. Open the dromed.cfg file in NotePad and check this line:
[INDENT]gui_font editor\textfont[/INDENT]
Open the editor.crf with your zip program and check for a file named textfont.fon or smalfont.fon.
Make sure the one in dromed.cfg matches.

Well, can we get some info on how you got 10.5.6 running in vmware?
After doing the upgrade from 10.5.1 the os stops working, even if reverting to a snapshot. I there an image file you can upload?
