Sorry I haven't answered for so long. But after so many trials and errors I got annoyed by this nuked driver error problem and accepted that I won't be able to play T2 (and other good games like AoE3) for a while.... But all of this doesn't matter anymore, because there are some great changes coming in my life.
My wife and I decided to emigrate from Germany to Philippines. It's always been my dream to leave this god forsaken country and finally I was able to convince my wife.
Not saying 60K crypto tax debt is the final reason that lead us to this decision, but it was definately a factor tbh. Now everything is save and well. Our plan is fix. Everything is very well planned/organized
and the gears fit perfectly into each other. We are very excited preparing everything, selling stuff etc. Three days ago, we unexpectedly received a beautiful message. My wife is pregnant! Since about 1 year we are ready to be parents and now it worked. (we only tried seriously 2 times) This is the icing on the cake! (well placed advertisement)
So regarding my driver problem - doesn't matter anymore, I will go with the solution to make a fresh Windows installation within the next weeks. But I won't be playing T2 for a while anyway, because I am and I will be quite busy for some time. But this - even if it sounds like - is not good bye! I will go on a long journey and I will definately return to these realms! Thief is my favorite game and I will always return to it after some time! But for now I have other things to do in my life... Maybe for years, or maybe I will return earlier than expected to enjoy Thiefmissions!
Who knows, maybe at that time I will have the honor to play masterpieces like The Broken Goddes or Keeper of Infinity 3: The Dark Forest?
