Hard to imagine that anything new will be found in a game now 7 years old, so apologies if this is old hat, but couldn't find a previous reference (although hard to frame a search on the subject).

Just started a new run after a year's lay-off of gaming (for various reasons), and just hit Cargo Bay 1A. Got the quest item and legged it down to mantle the crates in the bottom right-hand corner to wait for things to quiet down. After a bit, a protocol droid came wandering down my way, muttering to himself. Just as I decided he wasn't worth a bullet -

*incendiary explosion*
*clunk*
no droid
bits of metal at the foot of the lift

Very odd. Saved game at this point and waited. To cut a long story short, a second proto droid then started wandering in my general direction, in the same not-particularly-alerted fashion as the first one. As he reached the bevelled metal bit at the foot of the lift, he suddenly shot thirty feet in the air and exploded against the bottom of the lift platform! :eek:

Is this normal behaviour?

Oddly enough it's repeatable, as each time I reload that savegame, the same thing happens. Took some screenies if anyone's interested.

Sounds like the bot hit that 1 in 1 million ploy and the game decided to have a little fun of its own.

Now that is a new one to me. :eek:
I want to see that on a video clip. :D

But I have got strange bugs happening to me in the Cargo Bays too, save the game while an enemy is right under a cargo lift; when you load, the enemy will be on the lift with you. :p Happened to me quite a few times with the maintenance bots.
