So i "accidently" stole a grand soul gem from my own mages guild and low and behold got kicked until i get 20 dragons tongue and 20 of something else which i cant remeber at the moment...so where can i easily get dragons tongue in large amounts????

Anyway, the title of this one is more intriguing.
(I've never seen dragon tongues before, so I can't help. Check out all the alchemy shops in all the cities, I'd say.)

I have only found 2 samples in the wild in almost 200 hours. Good luck, I have to get 20 Vampire Dust, and 20 Daedra Hearts.

Dragon's tongue is a southern plant. Check the small peninsula jutting into the river south of Bravil.

Got the same problem myself, accidently attempted to pickpockt because I was in stealth mode when I actually wanted to chat. Whups!
Dragon's tongue can be found around Lewayiin. Amelerion's Tomb has a plant or two outside it (NE river bank outside Lewayiin), Greylend has a set of five plants outside it (WSW of Lewayiin). I understand the Redwort is also in the general region. Yet to find any plants of it thus far...

If you can still get into the inner area of the Arcane University you can always find a few dragons tongue plants in that little garden area off to the right side.

Found redwort. Three spots to be found.
1) behind a boulder just east outside Lewayiin. Four plants there.
2) near Fort Teleman - head North East of Lewayiin a fair distance to find this.
3) South East of fort Teleman just above the 'd' on the map is a little hollow next to the water that has the motherload of around fifteen redwort plants.
Now am thankfully back in the guild. Grrr that was a pain.

Sorry but I went to all these places that was listed for REDWORT and there was nothing to be found. I found all the Dragons Tongue plants but the Redwort mentioned was a wild goose chase.

bah, this sort of thing is far too tedious, especially when you're archmage. Just use the console to get the items and dock yourself some gold or something.
