Lol! The (Icewind Dale narrator?) voice just makes the music sound even more horribly out of place. This is almost, almost worse marketing than Thi4f.

I grow less and less interested in this game.

Using a song making fun of exactly what they're trying to do by using that song is a huge win.

What song is it?

Selling the same old generic RPG shit with Manson's "This is the new shit" is indeed ironic, but actually, what they're trying to achieve by that? Irony aimed either towards themselves or their audience (or both) won't help if the game is as boring and uninspired, at least as it seems to me from the gameplay footage...

Heh, you're giving them WAY too much credit. It's solely the EA marketing department going after the console tard dollar by reminding them of the film, 300.
That reminds me of Aja imagining that Gears of War is this great post-modern satire of Action video game and film tropes/cliches and also takes the piss out of the Xbox 360's fratboy-esque audience.

Might be. For sure they have some agreement with Nothing Records to use their songs: Manson in DA, NIN in the opening sequence of NFS: Undercover, another NIN remix in latest Mass Effect 2 trailer...
[Edit] Damn, I just read that Nothing Records was closed a few years ago, so that's not the case :laff:

Stop seeing references to half-naked men everywhere.

Not my fault that you're gay for Frank Miller.
