To be fair, I think Horse Armor was only $2. Still stupid, mind you, but a far cry from $10.
I suppose if I went in expecting a BGII clone I might feel better...but I'm not sure I *want* to play BG2 again. I think it's great for its time, but is more notable for its breadth rather than its originality or characters (though Irenicus is pretty awesome). Plus, color me skeptical at Bioware replicating that success after the massive retardation that was Throne of Bhaal.
Might pick it up when it's cheap and I need an RPG fix bad, though. I *want* to believe the reviews and rush to buy it...but, you know, that's what I did for Neverwinter Nights and KOTOR, and even the $25 I spent on Mass Effect was probably too much, so...I probably should learn my lesson.

Whoever pays $2 - $10 for a horse armor plugin is an idiot, it's hardly the developers fault there are idiots so i dont see how it's even relevant. It's not like it was a plugin that was essential for the game to be good/fun..
Have only played DAO briefly so i cant comment on it yet :) i bet i will bitch about how extremely limited it feels compared to Bethesda's games ;) At least i hope there will be some interesting mods :)
