I've got a creeping feeling that I might end up buying this sooner than I expected. The Eurogamer review seems to suggest it's
alright, and if GAME keep that £25 preorder price after release too, it
might just be worth it. Yes, Generic Age looks incredibly generic, along with its overly generic trailers and ridiculously generic dragons, but, at the same time, I think I'm in the general mood for a generic BioWare RPG. Maybe to take a break to man the fuck up and go finish X18 in STALKER.

I miss the days when devs didn't charge $10 a pop for shit ON THE DAY THE GAME WAS RELEASED. Smooth move including codes for 2 free DLC packs to make sure everyone creates/logs into an account and sees a third one that isn't included with the game.

I found Dragon Age really disappointing. I don't think they could've made it any more like a generic MMORPG.

Half of the RPG Codex is shitting itself over this game, the other half is shitting itself because the first half was(just like everyone else) bashing the game like there's no tommorow before release.
Not that I actually managed to grasp what's good in it. Apparently Bioware Writing and Bioware Dialogues don't matter as long as the combat is hard. Hard combat, in an RPG, hmmm

so you finished it ? my copy hasn't even unlocked yet...although steam claims it is released in mainland europe

Why would I finish a game that I found disappointing? I played the demo for a few hours, then I deleted it.
This game doesn't even need a review, all you need to do is remember what kind of sequels System Shock 2 and Operation Flashpoint had. Now take Baldur's Gate 2 and apply the same logic.
