Heh, I thought TTLG had developed an allergy to that term.

It's definitely not my opinion. It's what Bioware's PR guys, plus the "popular gaming press" have been saying.
I gave you a general answer to your question.

Yeah, I got that, I just seized the opportunity to pounce on a cheap snide comment.
I'm quite curious to see how they handle making up their own world mythos etc., since what I've played so far from BioWare relied heavily on such established backstories and contexts (FR and SW, to be precise). I should probably get around to playing ME already.

The backstory in ME is great, maybe the best part of the game (with the combat). The dialogue is a bit crap, but Black Isle/Obsidian were always better at that even in the Baldur's Gate era.

Well being better than Bioware at making dialogues is like beating a wheelchaired kid in a race uphill.

And then there's Bethesda.

What's the penalty for necrophilia in Cyrodill? Just asking.

BG was kind of fun at the time (but not nearly as good or even as "advanced" as the much older Ultima 7's). ME was laughable, especially the team AI, they couldn't even open doors, lol. Their games have this staleness to it that i don't like (same with "The Witcher" and Fable1 which i didn't like either).
Bethesda might not be so good a dialogues or story (...just like 99.9% of PC games out there) but their games are immensely fun to explore, has loads of interactivity and freedom and great level design (unlike Bioware, see KOTOR or ME, for example, filling rooms with crates isnt good design..).
For good dialogue/story i recommend books. For good voice acting, interesting characters: movies. I don't believe games can have everything, it's all about prioritizing things.. I think Bethesda knows their medium much better than Bioware does. Dragon Age will most probably be their usual, hold-the-players-hand-throughout-the-whole game-experience-so-he-don't-wander's-off-the-track crap.

That's one bomb of a post.

Not really, a good troll needs to be believable.
In any case, it was obvious that DA was going to be delayed for PC as soon as the multi platform announcement was made, and really as soon as EA made the purchase. EA's still haemorrhaging red ink and desperately needs to make some sort of recouping of the debt fueled spending they indulged in now that the debt has become so difficult to service and those lovely bonuses for buying Bioware (twice!) are no longer a factor.
Can't say I'm particularly disappointed with the delay, Bioware is an appallingly unimaginative development house whose new-IP titles have all been unremittingly generic and bland even as they yell in your face about how new and awesome they are. I can't think of anything from DA I've seen which hasn't screamed 'derivative' or "look at me I'm cribbed from from [fantasy world incarnation]". Still, it might be like ME and worth playing, just not for the reasons it's meant to be worth playing.
