Oh, that's better then.
Not very much better, but better.

At least he pays for games, unlike you, Polish Lord of the Warez.

this is one of the reasons I do not support this game at launch. we will never really know how the Day1 DLC was developed. Since EA/Bioware are about profit (as any other big company) I assume they made the game, saw it is awesome and long and just cut out a particulary long side-quest and renamed it DLC. It is to make money, cuts costs (it don't think they would have had to add another DVD and the manual is already finished so I can't see it having any impact on the production costs). this and the whole advertising campaign has turned me off that I can't see me enjoying the game on release day when I got all those negative pictures (and bad soundtrack and art and voiceover and ....well, pretty much about everything besides it features party combat) in the back of my head. No, no, I'd rather wait for proper impressions and a proper release bundle including the WHOLE game, not bite-sized butchered version before I try to find my anticipation of the supposedly BG2 successor.

I pay for good games. To know if game is good, I have to play it. With me so far? Well to play it, I could try a demo, except demos are too oldschool for anyone to bother with anymore. So what's left?
It's pretty damn logical. When you buy shoes, you don't just pick the ones that look good and go to the register, you also try them on. Why you people can't comprehend it is beyond me.

This is the oldest, most bullshit response that pirates use to justify their software theft. I used it when back when I was a warez kiddy, until I realized how destructive my actions were to the industry I love.
I am in school and don't work full-time. Consequently, I have to be VERY careful about what I buy. Even still, I don't pirate shit to 'demo' it. I just wait until I read a review I trust or hear the general consensus of TTLG. It is not even limited to the PC. I could have modded my Xbox years ago and pirated the shit out of games for it. Instead, I get to look at my "Giant Shelf O'games"© and be smile a bit at all of the great PC and Xbox games I have accumulated over the years. Physical copies rule.

I guess you are right - buying only good games IS destructive for videogame industry. Well, as they say, love is blind, keep on loving.

Nice way to spin my statement, and avoid dealing with the issue completely.

I dislike consumer unfriendly DRM, but will buy products attached to it if I don't have a choice... or if the the price is right. Eg Mass Effect on Steam (At the time it was $30 USD for the Australasian market, not $20 USD) is far more expensive than what I paid for the retail release. They had released a revoke tool by the time that I got around to buying, so it's liveable situation. Same case with Mirror's Edge, $50 USD vs. $20 NZD? No contest.
