As long as Dragon Age has a
good fantastic story and questing and gameplay in the style of the Bioware of Olde and ye goodly Infinitye Engyne, I'm in.
I really hope so. Everything Bioware has done since they ditched the Infinity Engine has been so...eehhhherrr. You know, they're not what I'd call bad, but they're not exactly outstanding experiences etched forever in my memory, either.

Instead you get blood on your armor when you kill a rat. And sex.
You get blood on your armour when you sex? That
could be controversial.

No, you get blood on your armor and sex, when you kill a rat. To make killing rats more entertaining and rewarding, apparently...

That's the catch though: It doesn't.
So you have a time machine, had gone forward ~2 month into the future and thus have played this unreleased game? By all means, share your impressions of it.

Well us time travelers have NDA on everything but fuck that.
The game's a NWN2 clone, except with simplified and dumbed down system for console kiddies(i.e. health regen). The different stories for different races/classes are a hoax, as they all come together after something like thirty minutes and you get the typical linear fantasy save-the-world shit. Dialogues are very much like Mass Effect's which is pathetic because the models are bad and the wooden animations rip. At least there are no good/bad/dumb fake choices, it's dialogue trees all over again.
The game advertises itself as "mature" which means there is a lot of blood(seriously - rats are pretty much walking pressurized blood balloons), splatters of which stain your(and your companions') armour when you do as much as cut yourself when shaving. Another example of "mature" world is the super corrupted and bad organization which is super corrupted. And also bad. And they make bread out of grinded baby bones. See, it's mature because they're officially the good guys. And finally, what everyone wants in their RPGs, that is romance. The romance is about as romantic as a hentai doujin mind you("Hello" "Hey, my name is Takeshi, you smell nice" "Oh my god let me give you a blowjob then let's have unprotected sex right here and now") and the actual sex scenes are half a boob, two ass jiggles and five heavy sighs - very much like Mass Effect. Game in three words: Banal. Shit. Boring.

Baldur's Gate had health regen.
Koki on 6/10/2009 at 06:50
Yeah, 1HP every 8 hours unless you had 20 CON, which was only obtainable as a dwarf with the CON manual. Then it was 1HP/turn(1HP/minute).
So very  kind of regen.

You're still going to get a torrented copy of it anyway, so it doesn't really matter how bland or boring it will be, now does it? At least that's how I do sometimes (or used to).

new trailer/dev commentary called "living world" is out.
notable observations:
they show static pictures of temples/designwork and craneshots of architecture empty of wildlife or humans.....very...living
bioware has a guy in a position called:
Lead DLC designer/producer and show him in the promo for a game that isn't even out.
apart from that it's more generic piled on generic. copy/paste structures and boring 3d wireframe concepts with the same old, same old LOTR design. the more I see of the "hardcore" "back2theroots" "BG2 inspired" the more I long for the "newschool, lightweight RPG" called ME2.
