Lol, it even says in the article "this is by no means official." As if you could mistake that video for actual promotional material... yet more despair for the human race in general bubbling to the surface...

there is your target audience !
this is the new shit ! nobody can undo the manson promo videos, only the released game being non-sucky could (for me). I'd rather play ME2 where I know what shit I get served. I won't buy DragonAge since Bioware could never ever make a game as good as BaldursGate in their current state of mind....(last years showed that they don't have any new stories or ideas in them, only simplifying the same over and over again). Having stiff character animations, no voiceover for the hero and a hundred buttons on your HUD doesn't make your game suddenly "mature", "deep" and "high quality".

Damn, the video was already removed by the time I got to it. Anyone have another link?

A post a few down from the top:

I'm so stupidly happy right now it's not even funny :cheeky:
Really? This seems only like a cheap, cheap substitution for a demo. It is not even interesting like the Spore Creature Creater. Some of these Dragon Age fans are rabid.

Are you ready for the new shit, bitch?

Man, I didn't think it was possible for me to be less interested than usual in a Bioware title, but Mass Effect 2 looks positively ambitious compared to this. It's like they're TRYING to make the most generic Tolkienesque fantasy-world they possibly can.

Guilty as charged:cheeky:
I suppose DA is a bit outdated in some ways. In fact it's not something they decided to do recently. DA has been in development since before I even joined their forums(in the days of NWN1) so in a way it was really aimed at that period.
But now they've just given it the Mass Effect/BG treatment.
I suppose the reason I'm looking forward to it is because NWN2 was terrible and BG1 and 2 never really appealed to me(I need something to fill that Bioware Fantasy RPG void). This has elements of both games and is unlikely to screw up(gameplay-wise). Good thing it isn't developed by Obsidian(KOTOR 2 was great but the rest were meh).

can you spot the fantasy rpg writing in this comment ?
no offense, but I think you will find many diverging opions on that, especially the 2nd part of your post.

Zenimax aren't dicks in the way of developer relations - at least to those who aren't Interplay (fan relations is an entirely different matter though), I suspect that they highly likely won't make Obsidian rush the development of Fallout: New Vegas.
Sega I'm not so sure, we'll have to wait and see how Alpha Protocol turns out.
