Anyone seen Drag me to Hell? And what did you think of it? I saw this at the cinema today and thoroughly enjoyed it. Sam Raimi back at what he does best - horror with a healthy dose of slapstick comedy thrown in for good measure. Weirdly, despite the fact it's unashamedly old-school, it feels like a breath of fresh air compared to most of the other merchandisable drivel in the cinemas at the mo.

I'm quite amped to see this but I'm guessing it won't be reaching our shores for quite some time. Sadly it doesn't seem to be doing so well at the box office, grossing behind the usual pace for a horror film, which isn't exactly stellar in the first place.

Has a dumb title, been ignoring it.
If it's meant to be a parody I will become slightly more enthusiastic!

While I normally don't watch horror films, I'm most definitely an Evil Dead fan and was delighted when I heard that Reimi had decided to make another comedic horror film. I'm seeing this as soon as it makes it to the local theatre (which could be a while, given my rural location).

Guys, go see it, it's great fun, totally masterful jump after jump. Plus the perfect amount of tongue-in-cheek.
It really is very enjoyable, I probably had an elevated heart rate through most of it and a lot of times genuinely jumped. It's not one of these slow-burning creepy films, it's unashamed and sometimes cheesy terror all the way through, but it's great fun.

It's cool. Not as good as any of the Evil Deads, but still very fun. It's PG13, so no rivers of blood here, though.

I gave up on going to the cinema--now I just sit at home watching Jim Carrey and Werner Herzog films over and over and over and over.
...and over.

I love great horror and I love cheesy horror. Either way I'm keen to see this one. Fantastic name.

How can you not want to see a movie where an old Gypsy lady puts a curse on her mortgage broker?

I've just got back after seeing it. It was excellent, really cheesy and funny. Loved it.
