Yes and I don't have Delphi. I tried loading it in the trial of Delphi 7 and the source wouldnt even load right because its so old. It was written in Delphi 2, which is antiquated and unavailable from borland.
On another note, I got FleshLoader to compile and run in Linux last night. :thumb:
Not too much left to go really. (savegame management will probably be the hardest part)

Okay, I'm making progress with the loading of FMs and I'd expect a working beta to be available around the middle of the week. I still need more FMs to use for testing so if you have any send em. Thanks!

Two comments upon testing V5 preview
The Launch T3 button doesn't do anything for me. I have it mapped correctly.
I agree that the text in the "notes" section goes a bit to far to the right. Can you set the wrap to equal the screen size?
The concept is great, and I really love being able to mark progress and make notes -- I can see myself making a note on not having found all of the loot or something I really liked about the mission -- or why I didn't finish it.
Nice work so far... :thumb:

Yea theres a way, I'll think about it.
Launch doesn't work yet because its just a preview. I had planned to have a working copy uploaded by tonight but it probably wont happen until the weekend sice I just got swamped with work.
But soon!

I see a lot of discussion about implementation. So back to the interface:
The big part of interface is for HTML browser window. IMHO flashloader should be for mission listing mostly. I can use IE for TTLG browsing. Is it possible to close HTML window and use most of flashloader window for FM list ???

The interface is very good, nice and clean and user-friendly. So far I like it better than Darkloader - but:
Lose the IE window. It's unnecessary - UNLESS maybe you could link it to thiefmissions.com, if epithuma (sp?) doesn't mind. If you manage to get the 'new-FM notifier' (which I think is an excellent idea), then there's no need for it at all.
Obviously there will have to be some window for the briefing, but if you made it a bit smaller than it would be possible to see more FMs at once in your list (the less scrolling, the better - this is one aspect of Darkloader I never liked). Or, could you make the windows resizable?
dracflamloc on 24/4/2005 at 16:26
Resizable would be possible at some point. School still is sucking up all my time. I've got 3 weeks left and then I'm free to finally finish this program.
As far as the IE component goes, I could take it out and make the briefings RTF. I really don't like RTF though so we'll see. But considering the only pages that will load in it are pages from ttlg or FM briefings, I don't think you're at much of a security risk. If you are really worried about it there will be a toggle for text-only or HTML briefings.

OK, I may have missed something really obvious, but I am going to ask just in case: Will this, or do you have plans to let this open T1 and T2 missions? (one loader to rule them all!!!)
I have been dying for a comments section ever since the first version of darkloader (can't remember its prior name).
the T2X and Darkmod teams are getting drilled as well. It seems like there are a lot of people who aren't happy until they have properly ruined something. My advice is to make what you want and release it. Some feedback can be useful, but this is your effort and should not be hijacked by immature people who can't contribute anything but discontent.
I think users have been spoiled by the tech advances in the Thief community. People are just demanding they get things handed to them their way. Over on one of the Morrowind sites, fans started threatening developers to make the site a certain way. I can certainly see how it would be hard to justify releasing work to a group of people like that. Thats why I say keep doing it YOUR way and if you can ignore those who obviously haven't had their diaper changed yet today, then release it for those who would be happy to use whatever is available. Someone else might then make their own personal preference modifications to it and collectively a really great program can evolve with time.

The resizable window could help.
Huckeye:
I am sure Dracflamloc will select from our suggestions... and make what he want's.
IMHO, integrate Darkloader (T1/2) into Flashloader isn't necessary. The primary goal is T3 FM loader. Darloader works fine, so why waste time and make what's here yet...

I'm thinking of the number of steps necesarry to get T1, T2, and T3 up and running. While not unwanted, installing a new app ontop of everything else just adds a new step. A new app that adds functionality without adding more steps would be most welcome. At least that is my justification for desiring a single app that supports them all. Not a biggie, but would be nice especially if already planned for. It also has that aweome notes field I mentioned which my 400+ collection of T1 and T2 missions could greatly benefit from. It could definitely be an afterthought as well where someone may choose to meld the two programs if possible. I'm tinkering with a sort of patch that automates some of the steps for getting everything going, but I am a long way off as this is not my cup of tea :( Next week I start chapter 2 of C++ so don't hold your breath.
