Okay, I tried searching for this and haven't come across the answer.
What is the easiest way to download a thread to my hard drive, and totally view it offline?

File->Save As
Type: Web Archive (single file) or Web Page, Complete
(Firefox doesn't support web archives; Opera and IE do.)

And for those who may not know, images--and other content that require an off-site connection--aren't going to work unless you are online, but the text is usually the most valuable, anyway.
For example: A thread like Azal's Strange and Unusual is nearly pointless without those images.

On-site images are usually saved in a folder that is linked to the webpage. On Windows at least. Deleting the saved webpage usually auto-deletes this folder.

Yep!

Thank you, guess I'll use Opera then. So it was Firefox at fault here (I tried downloading, had to "complete" download every page, which seems ridiculous in mine eyes.)
[edit]
:erm: Guess that aint gonna work the way I planned. You see, I wanted ALL the pages downloaded, linked together, and working as if it was the site: BUT for offline use. Guess it aint happenin'. BUT, I found out I can look at the "printable version" of the thread in question which should allow me to see every post. ;)
[edit again] Err... guess not. Shows first 50 posts in the printable version. Ah well, I shouldn't complain - At least I can download it right? =)

Hmmm. I wonder what happened? I copied the Mapping Out The City, thread and got all the text on all the pages.

I guess my browsers just hate me.:erg: :laff:
I haev no clue, I do "web complete", but it only does it for one page at a time, so I ended up web completing page 1 and page 2. Then I had to go into notepad and edit the hrefs:tsktsk:
