Door transgression - getting the air talisman w/o opening the door

Finally, after all these years, Lytha's not the only one who ever managed that "door transgression" thing anymore. Inspired by the tricks to flip the switch to open the grate with the talisman behing in Undercover with keyholing, I stumbled across the secret to get through a solid door without opening it (only tested with the two grates there).

Go here:

And move up to the gate facing the gap between the two middle bars:

Look up:

Fire a rope arrow as close to the gate as possible, right between the two bars.

Facing the gate, climb the rope to the top:

Still facing the gate, look down and go down the rope as far as possible:

When you can go no further, turn around:

Looking downwards, tap the "walk" key a couple of times just for a split second each time until you can go down no further.

If you're lucky (and climb down slowly enough), as soon as Garrett touches the floor, his body snaps backwards "into" the gate:

You can now walk out of the gate in both directions.

Whatever you do now, *do not pick up the rope arrow*!

Walk inside:

Read the prayer ...

... and grab the talisman.

Now, getting out again is tricky:

Stand in the corner like in the picture and lean to the right:

Jerk the mouse to the right very quickly, until Garrett looks parallel to the wall. If done at the right speed, Garrett jams his head right through the gate (this is actually plain "keyholing"). Keep the lean key pressed.

Still holding the lean key move roughly into this position. You may have to use the strafe right to get there (turn around a litte to move either forwards or backwards):

Now jump. If you had the right position Garrett will grab the rope and end up on the outside. This can actually be frustrating, for me it's still just trial and error.

Look away from the gate:

Jump off the rope to get away from the gate (you might get stuck if you get off the rope too close to the gate).

With the alarm blaring, walk out of the mission.
