OH. My bad, it seems I'm completely out of the loop.
That's a shame; I thought with Denuvo's seamless DRM integration we'd gotten past invasive layered software.

Hey, Nameless Voice, your Steam review got quoted in the latest Jim Sterling video!

At 3:20, in a DUMB VOICE. Tho I don't think that means anything, he always adopts a dumb voice when quoting people.

Few things set my teeth on edge more than the sound of Jim Sterling's porcine squealing. I swear he's a goddamn rejected Batman villain design. (

It's been shown in at least three videos by now, two of them spoken.
... I'm not sure if this is what I wanted to be famous for.

You mean to say he's not doing that crazy Youtube personality thing on purpose?

I think he's intentionally modelling himself after Danny DeVito's Penguin from Batman Returns.

Nailed it, except for the "rejected" part. The Batman franchise never rejects a sufficiently enthusiastic villain. :cheeky:
A dear friend of mine is a big Sterling fan... maybe I'll ask her to explain the appeal.

I can understand why some people like Sterling. He's informative, generally knows what he's talking about, and can be somewhat entertaining in this weird sorta way.
Personally, I don't have a problem with the guy, but I can only handle his videos in small doses.

He was doing troll reviews well before he hit up Youtube. So it's not really that surprising that his video presence is several orders of magnitude worse, but what
really gets me is that once in a while the things he says make sense; but even when I agree with what he's saying, his presentation of it makes me want to punch his face into the moon.

Hah. Yeah, he's a low-rent Penguin like NV mentioned. As for the appeal, I think I get it already - lowbrow comedy gets attention, especially when it's paired with comic exaggeration and snide disdain. In other words, Sterling's audience is probably the same as John Walker's.
