Nah, I actually beat the game once, but I RUSHED through it. I just wanted to get an idea of whether or not that was something a lot of people saw.

Seriously, how can anyone NOT see it? You hear a scream, and normal human response is to look toward were the scream came from, which happens to be a huge conveniently-placed window, which a woman and hybrid immediately run past. It's not like you have to stand there for a few minutes waiting.
Next up-- HEY DID ANYBODY NOTICE THERE ARE GHOSTS?!?

Come on, ZB. He clearly requested not to be killed...

Well, killers don't always listen to their victim's requests.

To be fair till I started actually munking around with the game itself i never bothered looking as i was generally too busy getting from the place thst's going to go up in a vaccume to a place that isn't so dispite the screaming I had my mind on other things.

I've read so much about "headphones are better than a 4 (or more) channel soundsystem" here on TTLG, that I fear we finally got our "mono is superior sound" guy. That might explain how you can miss it - if you hurry too much and choose to ignore the scream.
I don't intend to kill him, but I wonder that the game didn't. If you run into System Shock with blocked ears, you shouldn't last long.

High quality headphones are much better than any speaker system for gaming in my opiniom, but I do love the bass a big subwoofer generates with passion. :D
