Offense taken seriously, witty mark presented.
Anyway, I'll take this time to save some face and get all bad mutha T up in your face by saying: "static meshes are for pussies".
If you don't like using static meshes you should make something in the Doom3 engine. Nearly everything in the maps is built by the level designer in the editor in that game.

lol, I actually don't have a problem with static meshes...they can make life alot easier. ;)
I just had to save face and put up a front. :o

Yo Krypt (or anyother dev for that matter) since you're here maybe you can tell us which ucc.exe you'd recommend and other stuff related to it (aside from it was ripped out and is no longer used.)

As far as I know, ucc was never used in development at ISA aside from maybe early on when we were still using Unreal. I'm about 99.53% sure a ucc.exe from another game wouldn't do anything for T-DS. What do you need it for anyway? You don't need it to compile anything for scripting since there's no uscript, and it definitely couldn't extract anything.

It was mentioned (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1224124#post1224124) earlier in this thread that someone was able to dump some *.uc files and figured you might be able to give some insight into what version of ucc.exe to possibly use. since someone was able to do it. (so that we can possibly recompile perchance? :D )

I think Krypt might be suggesting the UnrealScript is left over from earlier development. The inference is that there is no virtual machine to actually run the compiled bytecodes. Perhaps. This would certainly make any fiddling about with ucc totally pointless.

So then... Krypt, may I ask, "how do you mess with stuff" as far as scripting or programming?
Do you know? :erm:
We wanna take T3 and... you know... do stuff to it. :erg:

I'm thinking that too as every time I try to exprt somthing the editor crashes (except the gamesys which actually got somewhere before crashing.)
