wedgy for the rest of the day.
Wedgies and high humidity make me cranky so I've given up on underware for the time being. :o Woot, we finally got some rain for the first time in 3 weeks today. 70 mph winds, thunder and lightning, Severe thunderstorm warnings and temps stay in the 70's today!! :) about 2 inches in 3 hours - Freakin Awesome. The UPS's on the servers kept chirping as we browned out about a couple of times. Beats the 90's with 80% humidity. I broke a sweat on Sunday by watering the grass! Shug: You backwards bastard! = translation =lucky bugger.
oh for fall and winter again..

Tip: Go for a brisk cycle ride and then when you get home it will feel really rather cool despite the indoor temperature being approx 30 C.

Ah, those midwestern summers. How well I do remember them. One of several reasons I moved to the southwest. But at least you have real air conditioning, and not this weak evaporative cooling shit we have here.
The hottest I've ever been is in the Florida Keys in June. We went to a grocery store just to have air conditioning. We stayed there until the security guard asked us to leave.

It's hot everywhere lately. Today it was 30 degrees inside my office, mainly due to those craaazy 1970s dudes who thought massive non-tinted glass vistas were a great idea.
I spent the entire day with a desk fan on full speed and depending on where I positioned it I get earache or felt like a dog with his head sticking out of a vehicle at high speed.
This morning I woke up at the ungodly hour of 5-something because I was lying in a room in which I swear there was next to no breathable air

It's remarkable how big a difference humidity makes. I left 85 degrees in Key West to 90 degrees in Seattle and it felt much cooler in Seattle.

Just bear that in mind next week when the temp soars to 95: you could be in Florida.

I would rather be in 100 + degree weather here in Calif, than be in the sticky humid weather in Florida. No contest. At least it cools off at night in low humid conditions.

It is so hot here over reaching over 30c degrees in some places.
We are not used to it. So hot the roads are melting The Tarmac/ Bitumen.
Peoples shoes were sticking to it.:eek:I won't complain because of our Harsh Winter's.
Ok stupid question?:erg: Are your roads. For Example in the USA. covered in tarmac.:o
