It's only 16 deg C outside (at 11 PM). So why the fuck is it 24 inside our house? It's not like I've got any heaters on, dammit.

And like that... it was gone.
Overcast and 70 here now suckers.
Ko0K on 29/7/2006 at 01:18
Yeah, same here. Weird. I'm not complaining, though.

Bah. Something physicsish is happening to all the fizzy drinks and I opened up a bottle of Apple Lucozade and I spilled it all over myself and I had to mop up the floor whilst smelling of apple.

Pff, that's nothing, around 8°C and cloudy here. ;)

It's only 8:30 a.m. here and my air-con just kicked on. WTF!!?? I like it hot, but this is ludicrous. THIS IS NOT THE FUCKING SOUTHWEST!!
My sweat beads have developed sweat beads.
At least I have an excuse not to mow the lawn.
I'm moving to Greenland.

Is that because of a heat wave or is this just the typical heat in the summers?
But you can mow the lawn, just be nekkid when doing so. :p

We get heat waves here towards the end of the summer (Aug. thru the end of Sept.) - usually. The past few years the weather has been rather erratic. This summer started out with cooler temps; until we hit July.
The last time I tried to mow the lawn (we're talking about 3 out of 5 acres here) in 90 deg. (F) weather I damn near passed out from the heat & fell off the lawn tractor. And I don't swoon easily, mind you.

In this heat it wouldn't matter.
Well - maybe to my neighbors. :weird:

It is never that hot here, but it has been ranging around the 20s the past days until today; it cooled down pretty damn decently. :erm:

The heat would be killing the neighbours, they wouldn't notice you. :joke:
