It should be illegal for it to be this hot in Seattle. Who the hell has AC in Seattle! It's Seattle for crissakes! And plus, not enough damn wind. It is sad that the most comfortable I've felt all day was at work. AT WORK. While I was WORKING.

I was working with day laborers yesterday, and I decided that the heat was a serious health risk for those guys to work past 1 pm, so I ended up sending them home early. On the way home, I noticed that my trucker's arm turned into a raw steak.

I just went to Target to get a fan and the gal there laughed at me when I asked where they were.
:(
At least she was friendly (and cute I might add). If I had gone to Wal-Mart they wouldn't have understood my language.

A-ha, I figured out why it was such a lovely feeling day today. Storms passed over us again. It didn't last for too long(definitely not as long as yesterday) and it didn't seem too terribly hazardous(I don't think I saw any lightning), but it felt oh so good, that's for sure.
I believe after the storms are finished bouncing around here, it's supposed to return to the 90s+. It felt amazing for an end-of-July day today though(beautiful storm skies too, I must add :)).
I heard about the California temps. today, that is so not right. Shwartzaneggar should make it rain.. or something. If he can cause hail and fire surely he can make it rain!!!
Seriously though, those temperatures are cruel.
Drink plenty of water/liquids. Keep bottles of water in the refrigerator every night so you'll have cold water in the morning and throughout the day.

Its hot due to all the atomic bomb testing, its pumped a massive amout of heat into the atmosphere, and it doesn't bog out into space due to it being a vacuum. The heats been going round the earth for years trying to find a place to live. It obviously needs a comunity and has settled itself into areas where there are people.:sly:

Beautiful. :D Simply beautiful. It topped at 47 today as far as I've heard, but it was followed by a pitch black, middle of the night rainstorm. Thunder, lightning, pissing down rain that leave dime dropped spots, wind strong enough to send anything not bolted down on its way . . .
I decided to throw modesty and sanity to the wind and just took a stroll in that beautiful weather wearing a bathing suit and sandals, since I couldn't find anything skimpier that wouldn't get me arrested for indecent exposure. I'm soaked to the bone and freezing my ass off, it's wonderful. :D
But it's supposed to be even hotter tomorrow, the humidity will be through the roof, and all that lightning had to have lit something on fire . . . but I'm so cold. :cheeky:

I will never understand how some people can wax lyrical about excessive heat, as if sweat and insomnia are some kind of heavenly blessing.
I guess they are the same kind of people that will save up thousands of $CURRENCY to go travelling in a war zone and rave about what a "great experience" it all is.

What an awful comparison. Did you not know that most women are made of asbestos?
If you ever get the chance, have a shower recently vacated by a female and leave the temperature settings as they are

You mean they're toxic and have to be handled with extreme caution?

Oh yeah....fear us female types. Especially those of us with cold feet. Like mine are now. :sly:
