He was. I remember seeing him cut himself and break it pushing it against his face because he was scared. Oddly, that, and Arnold covered in mud is about all I remember of the movie.

Personally if I want a nice close shave and a good clean feeling (usually if I have to make some form of presentation) I go to a barber and get it done there. Although very few of them still do that. Ya know? Typically, my barber regales me with stories of people cutting their fingers off while trying to change the blade in barber school. :eww:
But the feeling is unequaled... ok, well maybe it's equaled by sex. :thumb:

MACH 3 TURBO <3
Three fucking blades + moisturising strip, bitches
Though usually, I can't be arsed and just use an electric shaver.

l just use a norelco hair trimmer with the guide taken off. doesn't do that great a job, but it makes the difference between looking like you have two day's stubble and looking like you haven't shaved in a week.
Me too. I get bumps if I use a blade.

shit, l have enough problems with the shaving zits caused by a single-blade razor. that's why l quit the doubles- the whole 'lift/cut' theory is wonderful in theory but the practical result is vicious red spots. what the hell do you need three blades for? 'well, one lifts the shaft, one cuts below the skin, and one travels back in time to truncate the hair before it has a chance to grow!' :grr:

Are you kidding? Mach 3 will give you a much cleaner and less harsh shave than any single blade.

I shave with the broken glass I wake up in every Saturday evening.
Weekdays I use Mach 3.

The problem is that every guy is diffferent, and has their own skin type, beard coarseness , direction of stubble growth etc, so everyone has to find something that suits them.
Anyway I got a straight razor for Christmas, albeit a cheapo one for £9.99, (double that roughly for US dollars). I can't say I was too impressed. I did some research on the net for correct shaving technique, but for the first few times it just seemed to tug at the stubble , rather than cut. Later I manged to get it to cut better, but it takes about 10 minutes to get the job done. I did nick myself a few times, and it really was no closer a shave than disposable blades. It was interesting I suppose to experince how they shaved in Ye Olde Dayes, but a straight razor isn't something that I'd use everyday.

I normally use a bullshit electric but recently was forced to use a BIC disposable as I had no way of charging my electric. I just used normal soap since I didn't have any actual shaving foam, and it was still really easy, and gave a much better shave than the shitty electric razor. And as a first time user, I only nicked myself once. And damn I looked smooth.
