does anyone know how to block in the xbox version of morrowind?
Forsythe on 22/7/2002 at 22:47
It's automatic. Your chances are better if your block skill is high and (supposedly) the shield you've equipped is in good repair. Also, you can't be wielding a 2-handed weapon if you expect to block.
Edit: Btw, robertik1, please don't post in both forums; most of us read both of them.

Sorry for posting in both forums. I was in a bit of a rush. Btw, do you know how to use a soul gem? or how to enchant an item? One last thing, how do you use scrolls?
Again I appreciate your time and thanks.

Yes, once it has a soul inside, just "use" it like a potion or amorer's hammer...

at the risk of annoying the "use the search button" people (of which, I am a probationary member). once you do the above, you will be taken to the enchantment screen. You need 1) a soul gem with a soul in it. 2) an item to be enchanted. 3) the apropriate spell in your knowledge to enchant an item (for instance, you need to know a fire spell before your weapon can be enchanted to do fire damage). 4) really high intelligence, luck and enchant skills (dependant, of course, upon the complexity/power of the enchantment). of course, if you have the cash, it is much more time-efficient to go to an enchanter, lest you waste half the night trying to enchant something that is almost out of your league.

Using scrolls is fairly easy as once they are in your inventory, just scroll down your spell list (bottom right corner panel when you bring up the inventory menus), highlight it, and then it should appear in your second "Magic" window located at the bottom left of your screen when the menus are closed. then just "cast" it like you would a spell.
Hop that helps
