you might be correct my comp load very fast and i am not 100%
even saw something about the enforcers names to be remebered,but that was as far as i got before game loaded :P

This might have been a design decision aimed at easing the job of the localization staff. It's simple to modify a plain text source, it's reasonably achievable to redraw a map, but changing live in-game textures often means lots of trouble, especially if you also need to modify the normal map.
Generally, it's relatively easy to find someone who can translate text for you (or who thinks they can do it), but it's much harder to find someone who will redraw a texture for you (unless you have a full fledged development team, except that full fledged development teams are busy making games of their own). Usually it's a very tedious work.

I would prefer Garrett as the main character in a prequel/sequel, but I would be happy with anyone male or female. Maybe Garrett can train the kid at the end of T3.

I would prefer the main character to be Garrett, but only if Stephen Russell was available to do the role; I just can't imagine anyone else as Garrett. Any game with Garrett would have to be a prequel - if the game is to be called Thief, the main character should be a thief. I'm really not that interested in the adventures of Garrett the Keeper.

I like the original voice too, Garrett doesn't have to be bound to the keepers he never was in the past.
He has loose affiliations with them.

I don't like the main element, being an assassin though, much prefer being like Garrett, sneak in sneak out, spilling no blood.

From what I've read, it's going to be a game of hit & fade, rather than FPP sneaker. Simply put, there may turn out to be no shadow mechanics.
