The old ones were as big as a tiger or bear. Those were scary.
These new ones, although a better colour, are smaller, and thus are less intimidating.
Also - what the hey is going on with the size of that HUD? It's Huge!

A big HUD? I guess it's because of a smaller resolution.
Those karkians are watched from distance, the DX1 karkians would be as "small" as those on the screenshot if you would watch them from the same distance.
And remember that there were smaller karkian babies, too.;)

Although these ones seem a little smaller (it's difficult to be sure) personally I find them more intimidating than the DX1 ones. They looked quite good, and it could be pretty disturbing when one charges at you from around a corner, but they do look a little lumpy and featureless. I think these ones look better, more defined and predatory.

Yeah they look way more intimidating and more dangerous, BTW I havent told anyone this yet, but I really like the new hud!!! :cheeky:

hud is a lil big, hopefully on higher resolutions twill be ok.
the karkians are pretty cool, i hope to see some aliens-esque moments with minimal lighting.

I was.
Greasels always struck me as cute, and I had no problem killing them. I loved the ones in Versalife, you know the ones that are on your side.
[note: i am not cofusing Greasels and Karkians, I am merely pointing out.]
