I got help with the skin mod by Discord users interms of ttlg so i appreciate it very much. The sounds i edited in myself

And yes i complained on how i hated first Thief game because dinosaurs in middle ages is just stupid which i did complain on Steam. And i thought modding them to this made it more tolerable. I dont play Thief 1 but if i did i would go with Barney the dinosaur mod just to make it tolerable.
I think Thief 2 is a masterpiece (with exception of why Karras sounds like Scrappy Doo).
If i were to rate the games
Thief Dark Project 7/10 French and German, English version gets a 5/10
(Thief GOLD) French and German 6/10 version "Because i know the dinosaurs is gonna pop up and ruin it so why prolong it". English version 4/10
Thief 2 French and German 10/10 rating, English version emm 5/10... Karras is the reason, the voice is awful
Thief 3 Deadly Shadows 8/10. (I mean you cant change dub here but its fine. Just be sure to mute the game for your own music)
Thief 4 i havent played yet. People say it aint good, but it seems okayish from little i have played.

The way French Karras sounds is so cliche, he is just a flat unconvincing old vilain.
Russell's Karras sounds ridicule on purpose : it greatly discredit his personality cult, the paintings portaying him and how everyone thought he was a great genious. In the end Karras is just a pathethic maniac that stole lost knowledge from an ancient civilisation and thought himself a god for it. Thief always emphisized sounds, so Karras sounds stupid and you see through him the first time you hear his voice : he is a fraud. It makes him flawed, more human, and scarier, all in all a great character. Plus it makes him funier when he threatens you.
And about Garrett I could see why anyone would find him annoying, but it's in character too, Garrett is also flawed, the wrtting and Russell's performance make him quite a compelling character. Personnally I loved his character (and the game) right from the start, and I couldn't imagine Garrett without Russell's voice.
I am Norwegian, but even if this is average (I dont speak french though i wanna learn it one day mainly due to Thief 2 French dub makes it sound so mysterious). But even an average french dub is better than.... hearing Scrappy Doo robots -_-. Atleast in french he sounds dangerous and you dont wanna be caught by that. If it was Scrappy Doo voice you would just laugh your ass off

I think you're getting your cartoon characters mixed up. Scrappy Doo doesn't sound anything like Karras, he's actually got the most plain, boring, conservative, white guy voice ever created for an animation.
You're also not going to get much support around here if you criticize Stephen Russell's voice acting, which the great majority of Thief fans here adore and cherish.
And even the French folks here don't play Thief in French.
