I tried modding. I successfully made a library, heh. No books inside. I use the Book Rotater plug-in to put the books in.
But I like playing more.

This is rather much common knowledge...
But don't worry - you might not be able to get as high a price, but the percentile amount you can haggle IS increased considerably!
Furthermore all the price of all other items is decreased accordingly - so effectively you do get more with a higher mercantile skill.
With just about 40 in mercantile you can actually leech any shopkeeper completely by buying and selling one item over and over again. And your mercantile will increase rapidly!
-I don't know if you know this already... But in the newest version of the FPS-optimizer theres an "accelerated counter" feature for the haggling screen! It's really really nice when one is selling all those expensive daedric and ebony items!

Yeah, mercantile affects how much you can get away with when you haggle with somebody. How much they like you (use Persuade) affects how good of a price they initially give you.

I used alchemy to boost my personality past 20000. I can get almost anything for one drake :) . Also my strenght is like 30000 so I kill anything with one hit and break my bow after one use. :ebil:

Your strength is at 30,000? You mean... permanently? You must of cheated, lol. Or slept a LOT while infected with corprus.

Nah, it's not permanent. Nor is it... technically... cheating. He just kept on making fortify intelligence potions and drinking them afterward until his intelligence was at an incredibly high level, therefore raising the effectiveness of the potions he makes. He then made a few potions of fortify strength and fortify personality. Strength like that means that you get one-hit kills, but your weapon breaks every time. And you can't nullify the effect unless you either sleep for a year or so straight or you create a drain strength potion with equal power. Fortify personality wa a good idea, though, as disposition will always be at 100, even if you have a -250 faction reaction.

With regard to the high strength... Don't bother using weapons. Two unarmed hits would probably produce exactly the same effect. But them again why bother with the extreme strength in the first place? The game is easy enough without it - and gold isn't a problem either!

I first did it to make good enchantments, but I got a little carried away with my intelligence. Then I decided to make different potions while I was this smart just for the fun of it :)
It's not fun though
