I said "may" to cover my ass Dia. ;) I have no real opinion on the matter one way or another. I was just pointing out that such things continue to be thorny subjects as long as the people who were there to remember it are still alive.

Sure, there are worse things, but I haven't seen a really, legit great sci-fi film since Primer, and I desperately want one of those rather than a solid-but-forgettable blockbuster.

I know it's OH MY GOD ALIENS, but at some point people WILL return to their lives.
Have you heard of this thing we call "religion"?

I actually asked my high school physics teacher to explain the plot of
Primer to me. He wasn't very successful.
Of course he wasn't very good at explaining physics in general, so perhaps he wasn't the best person to ask.

I have never met a physics teacher who was good at actually explaining physics. Granted, one of them was deaf and in his 60s, but still.

The man behind Primer insists that he has a solid plan behind the whole thing, and I'm inclined to believe him, but at the end of the day the puzzle/ideas/drama are much more important to the picture than an explanation of what actually happened - that's for the puzzle geeks. Not that I didn't enjoy a good couple of flowcharts on the matter.
