I'm experimenting with visual features such as AA/AF in SShock2 via the Nvidia Control Panel. Is there a SHIFT+; command, or any other keyboard command, that displays real-time frame rate (frames per second)? For that matter, how to show FPS in Thief/Thief2?

Just use (
http://www.fraps.com/) FRAPS, of course. Run it and then launch any game you want to test.

It doesn't quite work for any game. Games that don't use DirectX/OpenGL can't be recorded in FRAPS, but we're talking about very old games here.

Fraps works fine with SS2, though.
Also, if you run SS2 through ShockEd, you can turn on a status display (including FPS) with alt+shift+S or ny entering show_stats into the console.
