whats the point of dispell? it doesn't get rid of drain atribute or anything negative, hell it doesn't seem to get rid of anything really. Seriously, whats it do exactly?

AFAIK, it removes magical buffs. Not curses or whatnot.

It reduces the duration of magical effects. So if someone hits you with a long duration spell, even direct damage spells (such as a fireball), you can reduce it's effects with dispell.
