Finished my Corvo+powers low chaos play through. Not entirely non-lethal and not exactly stealthy. At one point put a fully upgraded stun mine in a doorway then opened the door to let the guards see me and they ran out one at a time, each getting stunned in succession and I had to pause the game because I was laughing so hard.
Have jumped straight into Emily No Powers Death To Traitors playthrough. So far I'm a little disappointed that there doesn't seem to be a way to weaponize bloodflies. I figured I could throw a corpse near a bloodfly nest, it'd get infested, and then I could throw the infested corpse into a room full of guards and it'd burst into a cloud of bloodflies, but so far that is not working. Also there are some runes and bone charms that are literally impossible to get without powers.
Favourite moment so far this go 'round has been popping the head off a guard with a crossbow bolt, picking that head up and throwing it at another guard, which caused him to stumble long enough for me to run up and kill him.

There are definitely ways to weaponise bloodflies, with my favourite probably being during Addermire. There are lots of glass cases around with bloodflies in them. Open the cases, let an enemy spot you, then sit back and enjoy the chaos. Once bloodflies have killed an NPC, that NPC will then spawn more bloodflies, and as that NPC probably died loudly, they probably attracted the attention of other NPCs, which will in turn come running, die and create EVEN MORE bloodflies.

Well, yeah, you can do that. But that's not as awesome as the human bloodfly grenade that I envisioned.

This is probably known around here but (last mission spoiler)
Terri Brosius has a cameo in the form of (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0a4eeAmO4Wg) a creepy song. The same vocals is used in a credits song.

The newest (beta) patch makes the game work like a charm on my system! I can play with v-sync on and it's almost constantly 60fps :) !

Yeah, it's really shaping up. They even tweaked the swimming controls, plus other small things.
I've already completely rinsed the game, finishing it 4 times. First time normal, low chaos, whatever-goes type deal. Second time, no detections, no kills. Then a no powers, high chaos. My last run was "sod it, I'll mop up the achievements".
Stilton's manor has to be the best mansion mission I've played in any game.

As much as I wanted to play it, kinda glad I waited. Always a better call with modern releases...

Found a way to weaponize bloodflies a bit better, thanks to a bone charm I got from Breanna Ashworth. Turns the first bullet or crossbow bolt someone shoots at you into a small cloud of bloodflies, so if there happens to be a handy corpse nearby, a couple of bloodflies turns into, well...

On one hand it's great to see the devs dedicate time to fix the problems with the PC version. On the other hand, it's a damn shame that the game shipped in such a state to begin with. Though, I do wish a developer would come fourth and explain the technical reasons of why they ship in such a state, if the reason isn't because of lack of time to optimize.
Despite this though I think D2 will be my GOTY, as I consider it to be the best stealth game I've played since Thief 2.

It is damn good, and a fun toybox to play around in. But when it comes to the main targets, I think Hitman does a better job of the planning and execution, as well as providing interesting ways of finalising the deal. In fact, I think Hitman even has better stealth.
And for pure action, both Doom and Shadow Warrior 2 do it better.
But as a world to simply exist in? Yeah, it's very good.
