I've seen enough of the 2nd season to know that Sulp's right. It's was already good, and it's managed to get even better. I've just let it slip by me over the last three weeks, which is terrible, and I need to rectify it post haste. It's next in queue. The Wrong Trousers will come after.

You mean Army of Darkness? Well, the show is a lot more like it than it is its namesake.
Though I liked AoD, so it wasn't that big of a deal for me.

The Curse of The Were-Rabbit wasn't bad, it was just okay compRed to the sublime perfection of The Wrong Trousers especially.

Yeah, it (AoD) was a bit too high up on the ooh-wacky-o-meter for my tastes. 2 kinda flirted with being an actual horror film in between all the slapstick and rad dialogue.

I'd say you should give it a whirl anyway, cuz it still has those moments between the slapstick and radness. The last three episodes of the first season in particular, when Ash goes back to the cabin (I'm not gonna spoiler that, cuz it's kinda obvious it'd happen) are pretty much the real, official Evil Dead 3 nested within the show.

Well, after watching (
https://www.hardwareunboxed.com/gtx-1060-vs-rx-480-in-6-year-old-amd-and-intel-computers/) this video I figured what the hell and bought a GTX 1060 this afternoon (the EVGA version is overclocked and actually cheaper than an RX480). So far Dark Souls 3 is significantly faster, seems to be basically steady at 60fps; same with Fallout 4. Everybody's Gone to the Rapture, which is probably the most graphically taxing game I own right now, used to hover from 25-45 and is now more like 50-60. I'll wait a bit on Dishonored, but there's doubt at least that the new card made a big difference.

I watched S1 and enjoyed it. The first episode in particular is great! The rest has a bit of a webisode feel...
I won't be rewatching it annually like I do Evil Dead 1-3, but it does feel good to have Ash back.
