Yeah. At level one on Vanilla Oblivion you don't meet anything except Scamps and... I don't know. Little beasties. I didn't really spend much time at low levels. The mod (I think it's listed in the mod sticky) is supposed to let you meet level 30 ogres or similar when you first start out--though it's rare.

Yeah. At level 1 you'll encounter dogs, skeletons and stunted scamps. At level 30 you'll see minotaur lords, liches and xivilais.

Sorry, I meant a difficulty level, not a level you get when you raise your skills.
So, if I close Oblivion gates being at a higher level, that means I would need to fight other creatures than those of a lower one? Or this doesn't concern Oblivion gates?

Then ignore what I said. I thought you were talking about character level.
Difficulty level only affects two things; how much damage your attacks do, and how much damage enemy attacks do to you. That's it. At maximum difficulty your attacks only do 1/6 the normal amount of damage, while enemy attacks against you do 6x damage.

Yes, I think you would, but Oblivion doesn't affect creatures you fight with difficulty level. In Oblivion lvls 1-5 only fight Scamps, Flame Atronauches, and Dremora Warlords. lvls 6-10 those little beige things with three tiny horns come along. Lvls 11-(I dont know) Frost Atronauches come. Why are frost Atronauches in Oblivion isn't it hot there?:ebil:
