I hope not, then it's an incestuous m-f-m pile! :erm:

When the Duckeh arrives, the party's just getting
started! :D
I'm afraid when RyushiBlade or Striker comes it is over :)

To get back OT, I just played on whatever difficulty level is standard, as an Altmer Atronarch mage-type, combat was quite difficult enough thanks!

But what
is standart? You mean default? By default the difficulty level is normal as far as I remember...

Personally I play below normal difficulty level. The comabt has been a waste of time since Daggerfall (which was good).
PeeperStorm on 22/9/2006 at 01:49
Default difficulty here. I just don't see the point of making combat even more tedious than it already is. On the other hand, I have a pretty good idea what sort of character I'd be playing if I did max out the difficulty. Conjured creatures and Frenzy spells for everyone!
Striker on 22/9/2006 at 02:52
Woot orgy!
Wait, this isn't the Almalexia thread. WHAT'S GOING ON HERE?
And for the record I play on 50% difficulty.
Unless there's an NPC "helping" me. Then I set it to 0%. Useless.

I actually thought of another character, and that this another one would be played at max level.... But it would be violence against myself I guess. :)
Don't be mad. I'll be good.

Expert difficulty is a ripoff. Little else besides HP changes--and they double that. It's not challenging at all, it just forces you to waste time hacking away. I play at normal difficulty and enjoy it. I have some mod which spawns many different levelled creatures so that even at level 1 there's a chance of meeting an ogre or Land Dreugh. Too bad it doesn't work. I'll install another one sometime.

Yeh I wish I could have had something like that. The fact that you always had a general idea of what you were coming up against took a lot of the fear out of travelling for me. It would have really added another dimension to have certain areas populated by tougher creatures (apart from oblivion afaik) or just generally not knowing what you are coming up against.

You mean there are creatures that appear at higher levels but do not at lower oned?

Oh, I never played using a female character. Although it's rather tempting, there are lot more disadvantages.
