My credentials aren't flashy. I've got a B.A. in Middle Eastern History from the U of Jerusalem, though I took 5 of those semesters stateside. I also have a minor in Biblical languages and teach part-time now at a community college in Little Rock (no longer full time due to aforementioned health issue).
I also play in a band part-time. It's amazing what a cripple can do if you just give him a chance...

Sorry about that comment. I just remember way back that you couldn't work because of heart conditions, and that you were collecting disability.
AFAIK, you can't work
and collect disability at the same time, and teaching is, like, work.
I guess I should have said so more sensitively, but my inner asshole just comes out - especially when it thinks up a catchy line like "masters in SSI"

Thanks. ;) It's just one of 'those things' with me - incredible amounts of mis-information and assumption because of dumb-ass Western Christianity and radical Islam.
You can actually work part-time depending on the amount of your disability supplement. Believe me, I have to work at least part time b/c the supplement isn't enough to live on.
