Elemental Arrow
Skill Rune – Nether Tentacles
Tentacles will now only hit each target once
Holy fuck that hurts.

Inferno Siegebreaker gets reflect damage.
LOL. There's no healing in his room, he's got a fuckton of HP, Tyrael doesn't do crap anymore, and defense doesn't do anything against reflect damage. Guess I'll need some hp-on-hit to ever beat that thing.
But, since that requires making it through Act 2 inferno first, I suspect I've got time.
The IAS nerf shouldn't do much to my dps, but I had been running a crit build up til now - and all the price of gear improvements just shot up like a rocket. Guess I'll need to mix in some IAS with crits now that it's been nerfed into affordability. Pretty sure you're better of with a bit of both then all dependent on one now.

Ok: Post update post...
My DPS went from 100k to 87k so that wasnt too bad. Coincidentally, I just bought a new xbow so it went back up to 100k. Stuff can still one-shot me in Inferno Act 2/3, but its not as often or as vicious. In fact the elites overall seem much more tame. The NT nerf is pretty shitty, but whatever. Frost arrow works well, however I'm using Impale with the rune that makes it hit everything in a line... having it do 200k damage to everything down a row is pretty neat.
For mvping, I suggest Chakrams, with the dual chakram rune. It's effectively 200% damage per shot (and they tend to swish back around and hit for a second volley) for only 10 hatred. The only problem with chakrams is their unusual area of effect... which makes them less useful for elites but for bosses they work just fine.
My friend was rather upset at the continued nerf on monks on paper, but when he logged in and actually tried it he found that he can do much better than before, thanks to the incredibly nerfed mob damage.
I've spent 200k in repairs already. Whatever, its not terrible, it seems like I'm making a fuckton more gold per outing. Also, now that the acts have been rebalanced loot wise its suddenly very profitable, if a little boring, to farm the goblin in act 2.
Also I dont know what Blizzard did but now the game has a very different performance... characteristic. Before I had to play at 800x600 because some parts of the game were simply lagfests if not, to the point where it felt like slow motion and I'd die instantly. Now however, the game performs better overall, I can put the resolution up and turn on some effects, and towns/previously laggy areas are ok. The only thing is now there is a -constant- slight stutter in the framerate. It's more annoying than the occasional lag depending on location I used to get, because after a while it becomes rather annoying.
Oh and the social stuff got better. The friends list is slightly improved however switching between conversations is still a crapshoot. Loot on the ground gives you comparison stats but the AH still does not.

In regards to the AH. If Blizz had allowed mods for D3 then they would have done wonders for it (not taking dodgy key loggers or whatever into the equation). WoW had some awesome AH assisting mods (Auctioneer for example) which were quite handy.

I feel like I've been away on Mars for the past half a month. I had no idea about the controversy surrounding this game, and I'm usually aware of such things.
Personally, I feel that allowing an in-game market between players that involves money is a bad idea for lots of reasons, including cheaters, folks buying their way to a high level, account hackers, etc. When you involve money, you attract an entirely different kind of person than just the guy programming an aimbot that locks onto blue players.

Away on Mars? Visiting the old homestead huh?

I beat Diablo on Inferno with Wizard yesterday on patch 1.0.2c. My stats were 37k life, 42k dps, 280 resistances. I did it solo. I'm proud of my achievement and I liked the game the way it was before patch 1.0.3.
I hate patch 1.0.3. I'm so disappointed by Blizzard. I'm so frustrated by it that I'm going around in circles in my room trying not to cry. I want to cry because I feel like a child whose lollipop was taken.

Incidentally, I've now sold enough items in the RMAH to cover the cost of the game... so in essence I have no right to complain.

You know, I gotta say it seems like D3 is suffering to its own devices. There are a lot of scammers/botters/spammers and the problem is the very real area to make real money off of this, Blizzard simply isnt prepared for this, and frankly it should have never been introduced to begin with. It's like one big anomaly. I'm sitting at home making money for playing a game. This is inviting all sorts of people.

Good Guy Blizzard/Scumbag Blizzard: Makes Microstransaction game for greater profit from players, includes in game merchandise market to allow players to make profit from the game.
Not sure how I feel about all this...
