Thats you, eternally on my dick, apparently. Seriously, fuck off? I'm trying to help the guy, he obviously has a trojan.

How did you get hacked? You do realize you having been hacked has zero to do with Blizzard and everything to do with your computer, yes?
In any case, that sucks bro!
A good deal of people actually believe the Blizzard servers themselves were hacked. I can't speculate myself, but the sheer amount of people getting hacked is pretty disconcerting.

Blizzard did not get hacked. "A good deal" is a lot of dumb loud people who dont know wtf they are doing. I've realized the problem has to do with the authenticatiors, for one. People are downloading illegitimate "authenticatiors" for their smart phones and supplying the hackers with the password... Its funny how a good intention had such negative consequences.

Does it really bother you that much when people bash Blizzard?
also quit projecting your gay fantasies, there isn't enough rum in the world

You'll have to forgive me for not being entirely convinced.

Don't get me wrong, they deserve a lot of the flak headed their way the giant clusterfuck (for it is one ) that is the current siutation with login issues.
But to then additionally blame them for people getting their PCs hacked or unwittingly handing over their credentials through other means is unfair at best.

I don't know how I got hacked. I've scanned for trojans and malware, nor have I fell for any phishing as if I were some kind of moron. And, oh do I love how everyone instantly assumes you're a moron when something like this happens.
I'm also not at all sure I believe it has nothing to do with Blizzard. The D3 password is the battle.net website password, which gives a very clear vector of attack. Ever looked at the cookies for battle.net? Login.key?

I'm sorry it's just.... as someone who writes code for a living and who has a casual hobby in white hat hacking I dont think most people realize just how difficult it actually is. The first chapter of any hacking book is usually social engineering. Cookies? Great. Thats only relevant if you're logging into Battle.net from computers other than your PC (which is dumb) or if someone is capturing packets on your network, which assuming you had an open wifi hotspot, they'd still have to flood the network for a man in the middle attack (because switches dont send packets to every endpoint like old fashion hubs). So yeah. Cookies you say? Please continue.
