They also have legs they don't use at all while playing. So why not ship the game with a little under-desk training bike which requires you to pedal in order to play? The fans will be more healthy, the bike company will earn millions and Blizzard will gain some public respect after killing children with WoW. "In the end, it's better for everybody"

This isn't going to affect me in any way since I have a relatively stable connection... and I don't care too much for Diablo 3. However, I wish developers and others wouldn't try to push horseshit like this. It's insulting to me for them to suggest that I am too retarded to install a patch or skim the release notes.

It's funny you say "it won't affect me", because that's exactly what has been discussed. For me it's the principle, I have a stable connection as well. (Lookin' out for the other gamers, I guess you could say.) I actually wrote a letter that I'd like to send to blizzard, but I don't know who/where to send it to. I checked the blizzard website, but there wasn't any good contact information that I felt would be appropriate to send to.

Who cares? I'll be honest, I never played torchlight, so maybe it's horrible and Diablo II is superior in every way. Just what makes Diablo III so special that you can't play another game that operates under different terms of usage?

The only reason to play Torchlight instead of Diablo 2 is because it supports resolutions bigger than 800x600.
