Those 2 games are why my care-level was already at zero. I don't understand why people gave a shit about the game to begin with, really.
Well, Diablo 2 was really good and still is better than most of its clones, probably that's why. Also BLIZZURD <3333

Fuck you, Kotick.
RIP, Blizzard. You were never the most creative fuckers in the industry, but you did have supreme polish, integrity, and one of the best cinematic teams in the world. Now, you're just being hollowed out from the inside by soulless management and bean-counters, and the strings they've tied around your limbs will keep your lifeless husk twitching to the sound of pennies rubbed together across the world long after you've truly died inside.
Goodbye.
Torchlight 2, come here baaaaby.

D3 being online only doesn't surprise me at all after SC2. Which is the main reason I've stopped caring about D3.

Rampant cheating in closed BN?
And, of course, single player?
Pindlebot, map hacks, line of sight hacks, light radius hacks, auto item pickup scripts etc. And I haven't played in ages so possibly more since then.

Yep, I just found this out too.
:eww:
Though to be honest, I think I'll be taking the same opinion as Subjective Effect. While I hate what they are doing, I'll end up buying the game anyway. I was all pissed off about Assassin's Creed 2's online requirement(which btw, has been relaxed), but I bought it anyway, and I haven't really had any problems, but then I'm lucky because where I live I have a decent net connection.

So why is Diablo III garnering this sort of reaction where Starcraft 2, which features all of those things and is 1/3 of a singleplayer game at full price, didn't?
sNeaksieGarrett on 1/8/2011 at 19:50
Well, for me personally, I wasn't aware of Starcraft 2's online requirement,, since I hadn't looked into Starcraft 2 (I haven't ever played a starcraft game myself, I am only vaguely familiar with the franchise.)

Well, diablo2 released at full price being only 1/2 of a game.

I was using the moyer measurement by defining a products completeness by the amount of expansions it gets.
