I was impressed with the gameplay trailer. The gameplay looks to be a return to Diablo 1's gameplay--more killing, less silly pseudo-MMO posturing. But it does appear that they've got some of the same artists working on this as they do on WoW.
The good thing is, being a single-player game and all, someone will probably mod it to make it look more like Diablo should look.

Really stupid of them to make the camera fixed, i guess they want the same "feel" as in Diablo1-2, this would've been an ok decision if this feeling they're trying to recreate was a _good_ one, but its not. It'll just make it feel very stiff. I couldn't even stand playing Fallout2 the last time i tried, i constantly wanted to press down the right mouse button to rotate the view. I can excuse the devs there since its 2D and it just isnt possible, but having a 3D game with fixed camera?? Idiotic to say the least.

It's things like this that make me afraid to voice my opinion. I mentioned something I noticed and disagreed with in the game a few posts back, and now there's all sorts of comments like this. :eek: I hope I'm not the one that started them...

change the color temp on either your monitor or make a template for that color temp in the settings of your graphics card so it changes everytime you start diablo3.exe.. Color temp + a sharpening filter is the only thing that is changed in the "better looking" pictures... sharpening can be achieved in the DirectX settings (cant remember now which value it is, one is AF and there's another one too)

I didn't say that. I said it's frustrating to try and prove a point when most of the rebuttals consist of four-letter words and insults that were immature and unimaginative in high school.
