The point of the game is to not be able to see shit?
I guess that's why you love Silent Hill so much.

Nuh uh. Red and black. Like you're looking down through a camera covered in blood. That would be so FUCKING HARDCORE. Like Danzig deep drilling a fallen angel on a pentagram covered in goats. That, to me, is Diablo.
Also skulls.

Well I guess it is kinda pointless to harp on whatever coloration would be best for the game, as everyone has different tastes. If they do one thing to make one of us happy, it will make another unhappy.
I would suggest leaving the game open to texture mods, so people could add their own personal look. However, I am afraid that would lead to every game I enter online to consist of female characters with their HHH cup breasts hanging out (which would explain why that one character isn't saying anything and just following you, who knows what you might look like on his computer). Combining online gaming and pr0n is just creepy.

By the sounds of it, Second Life is like that.

Amazingly enough, Second Life is all about penises, not boobs.

Well chaps I have never played a Diablo game in my life but this "let's adjust the screenshots in Photoshop to achieve the true Diablo" is some of the most retarded shit I've ever seen.

The happy tree friends one was very amusing though. Abuse ftw.

In that case you are a lucky, lucky person. Or you've been blind all your life until two, three days ago.

It's called hyperbole.
I like the new art direction, although I can see how it might put off some people who played the former two games. I never played WoW, so for me the style looks very fresh and is a welcome change to many other AAA titles that try to sell greyish brown for gritty realism.
Blizzard reminds me of companies from the past that also kept a similar-looking art style in all of their products (I'm thinking of Bitmap Brothers/Renegade and early Westwood).
